Mission
Hantaflow is an independent, free, ad-free aggregator of hantavirus surveillance signals from authoritative public-health sources and reputable news outlets in 12+ languages. The goal is to make global hantavirus monitoring legible to the general public, journalists, researchers and travellers — without paywalls, without tracking and without invented numbers.
Editorial principles
- Sources first. Every signal links to its origin. We do not paraphrase headlines.
- No estimates. Numbers shown are signal mentions, not extrapolated case counts.
- Multilingual by default. Most outbreak news is published in regional languages first; we don't pretend the world is anglophone.
- Auditable pipeline. Methodology and source list are public. See /methodology and /sources.
Independence
Hantaflow is operated independently. It is not affiliated with WHO, CDC, ECDC, PAHO or any government agency. The site is not sponsored. Should the project accept donations or sponsorship in the future, all sponsors and donors will be disclosed on this page.
